OEB faculty member Dr. Adam Porter looking for caterpillars on the leaves of the red mangroves (Rhizophora mangle) growing on an island near the Belize barrier reef in the spring of 2014. Dr. Porter is an entomologist and evolutionary biologist and was the "bug guy" on the UMass Tropical Field Biology class faculty this year.
